Our Mission: UMUHUZA is a revolutionary web and mobile application that bridges the gap in Rwanda's food chain. We empower farmers with vital information, connect them to essential players like agro-dealers and processors, and create a more efficient and transparent market system.
Why we exist: Rwanda's agricultural sector is fragmented, leading to information asymmetry and unreliable access to markets. Farmers struggle to get fair prices, while consumers and businesses face challenges finding consistent, high-quality produce.

Olivier NiyonkuruSoftware Engineer 4th year student at the University of Rwanda (Computer and Software Engineering), He is a Software Engineer with 3 years of experience in software development. He is currently studying Computer and Software Engineering at the University of Rwanda. He previously worked as a Junior Software Developer at MININFRA on the Kwubaka project, a government platform for construction permits and land services. He also holds a Software Engineering certificate awarded by Power Learn Project (PLP-Kenya). |
